Knotting | 2 & 1/2 hour class | $45

Knotting is all about spacing and finishing, making snug knots and choosing the right materials for the design. You'll learn all about it in this class, with written instructions and helpful tips to take home.

Registration Information
Please note our Class Policy: Pre-registration with payment of class fee is required.  Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to other  classes.   Unless otherwise specified, classes are designed for adults ages 16 and up.

How to Register | You can register online or we can take a credit card payment by phone. 
​To register on-line go to our Class Payment Page and select the date.  Class size is limited to 4.

Description
​Students will Learn:
  • How to choose the right size bead cord for their beads
  • How to use an awl and tweezers to make snug knots around the beads
  • How to keep knots in a "floating" design evenly spaced
  • How to finish the ends and attach a clasp using clamshells, bead tips or French wire
By the end of class students will have completed: one necklace in a "floating" design with a clasp attached using French wire.

Instructor: Kim Humphrey
Class Fee: $45, includes 1 package of bead cord and a small amount of French wire, written instructions and use of tools during class.  
Knotting Class Supplies
Students select from prepared packages that include enough beads for a standard 24 inch "floating" style necklace.  Prices range from $10 - $30.
