Bead Embroidery | 2 & 1/2 hour class | $45

Registration Information
4Please note our Class Policy: Pre-registration with payment of class fee is required.  Class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to other  classes.   Unless otherwise specified, classes are designed for adults ages 16 and up.

How to Register | You can register online or we can take a credit card payment by phone. 
​To register on-line go to our Class Payment Page and select the date.  Class size is limited to 4, and we ask that all students be vaccinated.

Description
​Students will Learn:
  • The basic materials used for bead embroidery
  • How to stitch around a cabochon or other focal piece glued onto a backing
  • How to stitch additional beads onto the backing and keep them secure
  • How to add a pinback or bail
  • Different finishing techniques for the edging
By the end of class students will have completed: Patience my friend! Bead embroidery is not finished in one day -- remember what they say about Rome?  Students will work with a pre-cut piece of bead foundation and will practice stitching around a focal piece, couching, backstitch, and edging.

Instructor:  Kim Humphrey
Class Fee: $45, includes written instructions, a 2" x 2" piece of foundation material prepared in advance, beading needle and thread.
